Harry Snodgrass: Award winning Sound Designer and Voice Talent

Harry Snodgrass has over twenty-five years experience in the entertainment industry as an Editor, Sound Supervisor, Sound Designer, Sound Mixer and Voice Talent. With a career in the Hollywood film industry spanning over 100 films, Harry began at 20th Century Fox in 1988, where he was the first to incorporate and use electronic editing and was a key developer for Digidesign and Avid, working to fit their hardware and software to the needs of editors and mixers. Harry was a Sound Supervisor and Designer for many 20th Century Fox films during the 1990s, including; PREDATOR 2 (Stephen Hopkins), ALIENS 3 (David Fincher), ROBIN HOOD – MEN IN TIGHTS (Mel Brooks), BEVERLY HILLBILLIES (Penelope Spheeris), and HOT SHOTS - PART DEUX (Jim Abrahams).

Harry also created sound for the pilot of the SIMPSONS during his work on the TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW. While at Fox, Harry established himself as a creative voice talent, lending his voice to many films and television shows. From the chicken in HOT SHOTS - PART DEUX to the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, Harry can handle a wide range of characters, accents, and vocalizations.  Because of his pioneering efforts at Fox, Harry was asked to manage the post production editorial department at Universal Studios. While at Universal he collaborated on projects with other studio departments such as animation, theme park development, film/TV production and studio operations. He not only designed, supervised, and mixed sound on many Universal film and television shows including: AMERICAN PIE (Chris Weitz) BASEKETBALL (the Zucker Brothers), MCHALE’S NAVY (Brian Spicer), LAW AND ORDER (Dick Wolfe), the Emmy nominated THE BEAST and ROAR, but was most critically known for his sound restoration work for such cinema classics as VERTIGO, REAR WINDOW and TOUCH OF EVIL. Harry shifted focus again in 2003 to the Independent film market by providing his talents to the breakthrough hit “NAPOLEON DYNAMITE”.

Since then he has worked on over fifty more Independent films, documentaries, television shows and television movies. Harry’s technology background also encompasses his former role as Vice President Production of Activate and COO of Popcast – the precursor dot com companies to today’s popular YouTube and MySpace. Through these roles he is known as a pioneer in the Streaming Media Industry creating and webcasting many entertainment based programs as early as 1998 and played key roles in the development of many of today's key streaming media software. Harry, over the course of his career, has received numerous awards including; four Emmy nominations and in 2006 he received his first win for his Sound Editing and Supervision work on A&E’s telefilm FLIGHT 93.

Don Carlson

Don Carlson has been composing music since he was twelve years old on the family piano. In 1999 he began interfacing a guitar effects pedal and compressor to a computer, and in 2005 his song, "At The Rave Inn", appeared on the soundtrack of Klay World: Off The Table and was an internet hit.

Since then he has been in several musical side projects,  recorded Foley for friends' films, composed the music for Animateclay's "King Kong Discovers" commercial spot, and voiced characters in his own short films, most notably  "Ether B" and "Blue Alien Summer".

Don's goal with any project is to enhance the emotional themes of what is already there and add mood,  atmosphere, and depth to the scene.  Drawing on his 11 years of recording and mixing experience, he works fast, meets deadlines, and maintains good communication with the client to make sure they get  the quality and style of music they are looking for.
