Hey toshi ! Check out the ball-joint puppet armature that I've been working on! I built it using different alternative materials.

Hello, everyone! It's big News for you!
I set up my class how to make armature for stop motion animation in Tokyo, JAPAN.
I teach you how to make brass armature.
Now I have been making armature with phosphor bronzes and steel balls, so I decided to set up brass armature class for beginners.

Hi
I uploaded my new jig to animate my current project.
I made it by steel balls and a certain bronze.
I'm sorry but the photo is too small as I took it by my cellphone.

Hi Marc,
now I'm making a sample animation.
I think, maybe, to make a good animating jig will be important.
I made one armature jig to setting the right hand but for the left hand is just a wire jig.
The wire jig is so much trouble to fix the hand's position.

Hi Toshi, sign language may be hard to do if you animate a tiny puppet. But I think if you make a pair of large hands "maybe with eyes and a mouth on the palm?" you can do it. I would make them full size.
