hay i live in Sydney, Australia and have been doing stop motion for a little while now. i have been using knoxs characters to just muck around and experiment but hope in trying out some real puppets in the near future. I'm still a huge noob so any advice about this would be great :P
a little while ago we just came back from Thailand, where we had started an orphanage. we were there for 3 years and one of my mates there did stop motion, i but i never did it because he got his stuff from America. so its good to be able to get all that now, but still missing the orphanage.

how are those books you received
Jordan WadeJordan Wade on Tuesday, 18 October 2011 02:15

i havent finished any of them yet but im half way through 2 of them....ill tell you some more stuff when im closer to finishing them...but this is some general stuff

the animators survival kit is a really good reference book, much bigger than i expected. the first half of the book is just on animating walks and later onto facial and arm movement....along with some stuff on preparing the animation. theres a lot of interesting stuff in there that would be worth checking it out. i reckon its worth it to buy it, gets in with nice details and such.....

the developing story ideas was alright but there would probably be better ones out there, it sets exercises and assignments for you to get to a good place with developing your story. it is one of those books that you have to spend a while on and if your in a rush its probably not the best one out there.
