Frame by Frame
Since SMS went out, there hasn't been a site where you can step through a video frame by frame. I am a software developer, and saw that there is definitely an advantage to being able to step through the frames, and so I decided to make a video player that was able to do that, plus a few extra features. I just recently finished the player, and am ready to start uploading videos to it.
I want to know if anybody would like to volunteer their film to be indexed by this player.

Sinbad The Fifth Voyage
I'll be placing updates here on the progress of the creation of the new Sinbad film which will be featuring some stop motion creature sequences by Yours' Truly. :)
As this film is currently in production, I'm limited as to what I can say about the film's contents but, whenever I can bring you any news about the film's progress, I will be happy to bring it to you here!

Silicone Valley
A discussion group about the uses, techniques, complications, brands and anything else concerning silicone rubber.
Silicone rubber for puppet making has been around for quite a few years now and yet it's still new and intimidating to many stop motion puppet makers. There are beliefs about it being very expensive, difficult to use, sensitive to other materials and so on - and these are myths that need to be BUSTED! :)
The truth about silicone is that it is a very friendly to use material and the cost is very comparable to most other casting rubbers such as foam latex and urethane rubbers. There are many advantages to using silicone and a lot to tips and tricks to using it.
Please post your comments, questions, examples of your works, reviews of brands and anything else related to silicone rubber puppet and prop making here!
