About Me

I am primarily a film score composer, although I have done stop-motion animation in the way distant past when Super-8 was still the main hobbyist medium. I have some stop-motion shorts in pre-production, as well as some work in 2D animation... I also dabble in CG, although I don't like it as much.

Hobbies

Music, of course! I am also a technophile and like to use Linux for most things, including music and filmmaking (sadly, there isn't a lot of stopmo software available for Linux).

Regarding stop-motion, I am mainly interested in using built-up puppets, using a combination of wire armatures, latex build up, etc.

Books

Lots of books! Richard Williams, Susannah Shaw, a very old book from Cinema Enterprises, and so on...

Movie Interests

All of the Ray Harryhausen movies, of course, not to mention Phill Tippet's work, I also like a lot of the old Czech animation...
