I've always been obsessed with stop motion and puppets. I love the soul in this sort of work, as opposed to computer generated stuff. Also, I love the sets. :)
I'm a freelance artist, model builder, and set designer. (Though I love learning, and find it amazing, I leave the actual animating to other people.) I create furniture, props, and sets for stop motion animation, commercials, print ads, photography, public installations, etc.
I recently created sets for Season 2 of HBO's Funny or Die, and the 2011 Sundance winning short film, Brick Novax's Diary.
Currently, I'm building the sets for a few different stopmotion projects, including a short film called Studio City.
I'm mainly here because I adore the weekly podcast, and I like the vibe-- I just enjoy the like minds of other folks who like their work to be play. :)

Wow, you've made some really beautiful sets! I just want to stick some puppets in there and animate some serious lounging on all that lovely furniture!
