The Dance of Fire and Ice. This is a very rough edit of my Stop-motion implementation piece for Staffordshire University 2008 We were set the theme of the brief 'Opposites' and could be interpreted how we liked, it had to be a minimum of 30 seconds, a vocal soundtrack was not permitted however sound effects and music were. I chose to create an animation about a dance, featuring a man and a woman, 1 born of fire, the other from ice. The Fire Princess and the Ice Prince dance around in the darkness, spreading their joy and love of life through a mixture of figure skating and ballet. The opposite dancers attract each other, touching and spreading life where they dance. They sacrifice their lives to always be together and to bring life and light into the world. This is just the very first edit, compiled in some silly time, so I could meet the deadline for hand in (Just made it by less than 1 minute!)
