Description
Since winning the Ray Harryhausen storyboard competition in March 2012 I've been trying to make it into a animation, Ray has seen the storyboard and this featured puppet, he loves the idea and design, though hes not so keen on the smaller arms lol. He really wants to see this animation made and looks forward to seeing it. although I have little cash and space to make this, this is what I have achieved with some wire, foam and latex and a borrowed studio space for 4 days. My goal is to show, like many other animators I know, that this form of animation still has a place in film in fantasy or some science fiction...probably more fantasy. so here is the test footage for 4 days worth of work between two people, a desk and a Cannon 550D...oh and I had no animation program to utilize the live feed and instant play back options so effectively I was shoot blind, we had to download all the stills to the laptop and place them in final cut pro to see what I had animated was good or exactly what I wanted.
