ah interesting idea the glass. I was at the stage of 'right... get something done... anything' so I just moved the computer to one side and taped it up to the wall. :P
As usual I get in over my head and I wanted to have the clouds move by from left to right slowly as the clip rolls. Only I underestimated the amount of work it took just to do this tiny bit of bird flight.
But given that today I've got nothing on I'm digging in again! :P

Maybe this is a bit over the top, but you could try using layers of glass to separate the bird and clouds to create more depth. Its quite simple to do and the effect is very striking.
