Yeah, it was quite good. I really enjoyed it, its sense of humor is right up my alley, haha.

Fantastic Mr. Fox, Mary & Max, and everything Wallace & Gromit.

Re: Your Top Movies

The best stop motion animation I could think of is definitely Ladislas Starevich's The Mascot. I also enjoy Jan Svankmajer's work which are quite bizarre at times.

hmmm..... the more I see the more I like...

The Nightmare Before Christmas (pretty much as good as it gets in every respect)

Mary and Max (adorable style, hilarious storyline)

Mad Monster Party (monsters and stop-mo... what's not to like?!)

Re: Your Top Movies

I think most of the 'big' films have been mentioned. I'm gonna say 'The Fool Of The World And The Flying Ship', 'cos I still love it as much as I did when I saw it as a kid.

Here it is  big_smile  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PaIz2HKV5w

Mambo/Luc, I haven't seen 'Mad Monster Party' before, thanks for pointing it out. The first impression I get from the trailer I just watched tells me it might not be my cup of tea. It looked like a stop-mo version of Munsters meets Batman (original series). Maybe it's just the 60s era. Actually I think it was the humour - I'm generally not a big fan of comedies. I'm probably being way over-analytical. I'll watch the whole thing when I get some time to myself  smile

Re: Your Top Movies

@ Dean - yeah man the Mad Monster Party is very wacky and '60s style. Which is good for claymation and stopmotion to take on sometimes. Because it's more abstract it can handle some subject matter in a cool way.

I'm watching the link you posted... 'The Fool Of The World And The Flying Ship' - wow.. I never even heard of it. It's lookin' very interesting so far.
