It was more of a question.
m_) you can make melting clay without a microwave if that answers your question.
all it takes is more pictures creating the illusion of melting. And you may want to apply more than your fingers by doing so. Small tools could really be useful for it.
Re: need help making sets!
m_) right, if you refer to a verb.
m_)I am sure there are better ways to get that verb out of the way.
than using the microwave.
m_)If you want melting effects, you need more frames, seriously.
m_)the more frames you apply on your movement, the more believable and liquid usually moves fast spreads quick, so does the need for several frames.
m_)even if you want lava..you can still play with bubble effects.
Re: need help making sets!
Well you can use a double boiler which is a couple of bucks from a cooking store, but you've got to be using Van Aken, Newplast won't melt, it'll burn.
Metal; We're referring to melting the clay and spreading it onto the walls to make the sets look like they're entirely made of clay, rather than having something melt in the film, if you get what we mean?
Re: need help making sets!
"insert English crash course CD"
m_) oh....ok. I even thought I knew what you were talking about, but I was clearly wrong. lol.
m_) so yeah, Marc, I got it now. Thank you.
m_) I just didn't even realize people do this. Sounds like fun, but that double boiler, would not you have stuff attached that you could hardly get rid of? I mean, can you cook afterward or would you only use it for clay?
