Well animated and shot. I especially liked the opera moment. smile Though lights did flicker a little, I didn't notice it until the end (so unsure whether they flickered the entire time or not). Was this on purpose or just a result of a variable power source?

Quite good for a first animation! There was a bit of flicker, though, as Jesse said.
I see potential for great things in the future!  smile

Thanks for your reply!  smile
The flicker wasn't on purpose, I shot it in broad daylight, so I guess the light changed before I was done shooting.
Next time I'm going to try it in the evening, when the sun has already gone down.

Funny thing with the opera!
what sort of clay do you use? I never tried clay animation. I wanna try it, i'm a wallace and grommit fan smile
The flickering can be reduced if you put some small spots behind the camera, a steady light.
They are not so expensive. Here in Belgium they cost about 50 euro, but you get some small stage stuff with it ( http://nl.kapaza.be/limburg/mini-fotost … 277737.htm its in dutch but the photos are there).

Thanks!
I use Newplast™ plasticine, bought from this site: http://www.animationsupplies.net/lewisnewplast.php it's pretty cheap, but unfortunately since it's so heavy the shipping cost more then the clay does. But I think it's worth it, very easy to work with. The mini fotostudio is a good idea, I'm going to see if I can find a similar i Sweden.
