Alright... I was able to find some fake fur for the dog I'm creating for an upcoming project... Now it's just the matter of making an armature.

I know that simple armatures can be made of wire, but for some reason I feel ball and socket armatures work best (of course, this is coming from someone who has only 1 ball and socket armature in her life, and no other kind). Being sort-of a Macgyver when it comes to making things, I thought I might try creating a simple ball and socket armature. Is this a good solution? This project will consist of multiple "mini episodes" (like Simon's Cat on Youtube), so I don't want the wire to break.
