March 1st to March 27 , 2013 Exercise: "Nightmare"
Alright everyone, post your Nightmare related animated challenges in this thread to be considered for our prizes. If anyone doesn't know the rules yet or has questions feel free to post them also. All entries must be in before our live show starts on March 27th.

I have an idea, but I probably won't have enough time to finish it by the deadline. I'll still try to give some feedback to the entries.

Well I am new to this site and stop mo animation in general. I really like the idea of a monthly challenge, to give newbs like me a chance to exicersise new ideas in a short format, based around a specific theme. Thank you. Is there a forum here for QA with more expericenced animators so I could ask them a few questiions? Well I have the story board and scropt done for the exercise nightmare, and the puppets 90% done and the set 90% done so I should start shooting tomorrow. I would really like to know whats the best "free" stop=mo software, is Ikitmovie worth buying? Well here is a bit of my work for nightmare

If you can't find answers on here, another really great place to visit is Stop Motion Animation. There are plenty of friendly and very knowledgeable stop-motion professionals and enthusiasts, always willing to help.

That was awesome, Xiakey! And incredibly disturbing with the look on the puppet's faces and the neat warping effect! Well done.

incerdibly good your set the bar really high on this one! look forward to seeing all the entries its such a neat theme for stop motion and claymation the possibilities are endless
