Re: Inspiration thread!

I never did get very far in the game when I was a kid, and now I can't find it on any UK sites. I'd love to play it all the way through.

Re: Inspiration thread!

This may sound childish, but I am a "child" I watch shows on cartoon network like adventure time with finn and jake or chowder, they always have crazy characters and ideas. Other than that I'll go into my studio with my idea book and just set alone with nothing but me and my thoughts and write down my ideas. I also look around at my suroundings after all there's inspiration all around us.

Re: Inspiration thread!

I actually really like to look at 2D animation, more for the poses and expressions than the humour, but the old Nick and CN cartoons are still hilarious.

I know what you mean there I miss the shows like roco's modern life, ahh real monsters, the looney tunes, and tiny tunes, the 90's had the best shows.

Re: Inspiration thread!

I watch cartoons all the time.
1990's Batman Ftw.
Gotta say that show helped a bit in the inspiration for the Exterminator video I made.
Also still love Roco's Modern Life and  Rein and Stimpy.
Tom and Jerry style cartoons inspired me a lot when I first starting animating.

@ Sander: Yea it is good that I can't draw, I do love animating now.
I don't draw to often so that's why you've never seen one.

Re: Inspiration thread!

The site "Moli" has some awesome videos from Ron Cole's studio, I think Justin and Shel Rasch did a thing with them too, once that site's back up I'll post some links here.
