Dragon Wings

Re: Dragon Wings

That movie is really a promo for Stop Motion Magazine, and was to have featured the cover of the special Harryhausen issue for June.  Only that issue never happened.  I'm waiting for John at StopmotionMagazine to come back from Japan and work out the cover design for the next issue which he plans for August.  Apart from the graphics, which have to be composited into scenes with the puppets, the stopmotion is all done,  Idragosani  did some great music, so once I have the cover it's only a couple of days to put it together.  If that issue isn't happening either I will have to re-think it and maybe show all the past covers.

That particular dragon is only a head and tail.   I could still make a full puppet in a smaller scale, and design the body with or without wings.  Like the dgagon I made a long time ago, one of my first puppets, I would make the wings separately.
Can I post a photo here?  I'll try -  if it works,  this is not a dragon, but it is a flying creature with batwings that I did for the same SMM promo.  The membranes are liquid latex painted onto a plaster mould on one side only.  Attachmentshttp://www.animateclay.com/components/com_agora/img/members/138/mini_BatwingMail.jpg
