Old to new video good idea?

Old to new video good idea?

Hi guys I found a folder of my old animations (including my very first stop-mo) and I was tempted to make a 'How I've progressed' video

Would people be interested in something like that, or is it just stupid/egotistical? :-P

P.S. They are pretty terrible at the beginning but still humorous :-P

P.P.S Any tips on getting into the industry? In need of a job now. I've been applying to places but no responses yet, and they are almost all lo/no paying jobs as well sad

Yeah, make a progression video. They are good to show to people for fun - and good to see yourself.

I'm not in the industry at all, but I've found it's still way more effective in applying for jobs and other stuff where you have to deal with companies, to either phone up, or go in person rather than emailing. Big companies get a lot of emails so I guess it's easy for them to just not pay attention to one.
Although in animation, you've got to give them a showreel, right? So not emailing them might be tricky!

If nothing else- even if nobody is interested in seeing it, it can be very beneficial to yourself... if only to show/ remind you how much you've improved and can continue to over time.
