Original Misadventures of Flapjack intro
You might be aware of Cartoon Network's show 'The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack' it ran for 46 episodes, from 2008 up until last month.
Before the show's creator (Thurop Van Orman) went to pitch the show, he got together with Screen Novelties, and they created this intro sequence.
Apparently, the whole show was intended to be like this, but eventually it became a 2D(drawn)-animated cartoon.
I love the look of this, the textures and everything are brilliant, I might send them an email asking them exactly how it was shot.

That's cool Marc. I'm pretty sure it's clay on glass and green screen behind some parts so they could put complex characters and backgrounds on one screen. Are there more of those? I'm going to have to look around - the style is a lot of fun!

I can't seem to find any info about animating clay on glass online, do you know of any stuff like that I should look up?
I think this is the only one that's publicly available, apparently the pilot episode of the show was animated entirely like this, but it's never aired, or appeared on any DVDs as far as I know.

Penny is a really popular clay on glass cartoon, you might get some ideas:
Here's the original Arnold character who was actually clay on glass at first.
Will Vinton did a lot of them, you can find them on the Animation Jones site here:
