Early 90's Sonic commercial
Re: Early 90's Sonic commercial
ok this is a little off topic but has anyone seen the two levies stop-motion commercials their really really great here they are
They should make more claymation commercials nowadays
Re: Early 90's Sonic commercial
I edited your post Mongo so the videos show. The 2nd Levis spot is funny. My sister wore clothes and her hair just like that when we were growing up. The clay is also very un-refined. It's as if they didn't try to smooth things out in the early days, not until the 80's did they really focus on a clean look at most of the studios.
Re: Early 90's Sonic commercial
I don't really like the clean look all that much.
I think it's perfect when the animation is imperfect.
When you look at Wallace and Gromit for example, compare the first film with the last.
To tell you the truth, I like the first one way more, and the fact that the first one looked less clean or "perfect" plays a big part in that.
Re: Early 90's Sonic commercial
I'm with you Sander, I like the imperfect look better for some reason.
I've seen the Levi commercials before, but never the Sonic one.
I liked the Sonic puppet a lot.
If I learn any other language i think it's gotta be Japanese.
I like to much stuff that is Japanese but I always miss out on the full feel of it because I'm reading subtitles.
