Animate Clay' Armature FX Commercial Contest

Can you create the best online commercial for Animate Clay? If so we've got a prize for you, thanks to the ArmatureFX team!

Did you know the ArmatureFX armature kits are our hottest selling armatures? Everyone wants one! But we only have one left, and we are giving it away free to the person who can create the best online video commercial explaining why you should join Animate Clay. Here's a video showing the ArmatureFX kit being constructed:

Anyone can make anything they like for this contest as long as it promotes the site. Use your imaginations. Animate yourself, animate some puppets - or just make a photo montage if you like. Or, you can use some voice over and music audio files provided by Ron Cole and Don Carlson to help you out.

Download the optional 5.50MB zipped file here. It contains the music and voice overs by by Ron Cole and Don Carlson. As requested by Don, you can use the music - but please don't alter it.

Very Cool that this has morphed into a contest, great idea! This has been a while in the making because Don and I cut the sound of this ad together once before but, that was prior to the creation of the new AnimateClay.com site so the original version of the ad didn't make sense anymore and needed some tweaking to make it fit the new site. I really can't wait to see what people come up with! smilies/cheesy.gif

It looks like n*body entered. I guess the theme of the contest might be considered boring? I probably should have made a different kind of theme, and I guess that the challenges we have also take everyone away from these contests too.

Well here's what I think we should do. Is anyone still making an effort to complete a film for this contest? If so post here and I'll consider extending it. If not, I'll need to come up with another way to give away the kit.

Not a problem, I will extend this for two more weeks. The new deadline will be August the 19th. If n*body makes anything - maybe what I'll do is give one away for one of the challenges. smilies/tongue.gif
