Edna and Walter Gloom are finally complete! How were they made? Let's find out!
There are two new completed puppets that have been envisioned by James Geard and Ceri Watling. They are both completely hand made for a short, touching and comedic love story simply called WALTER GLOOM. Here is an original sketch by James that shows the original design that the puppets were based on.
Ceri "Woolymonster" Watlings job was to sit down and create the actual puppets. And there was a LOT involved in their creations. As you can see the replacement mouths are the final needed parts, but there's not much else left to do. Check out Ceri and James' blog on all the secrets they used in the construction here.
There's also larger and higher quality images of the puppets and in-progress work on the official Walter Gloom Flickr photo page here to pour over. On December 30 we'll chat with Ceri Watling live to answer any questions about what she's done and why on our live show page. So get your questions ready and post them as comments below for her to answer during the show!
