Lego Star Wars - Battle of Hoth Revisited

Lego animator Kevin Ziolkowski on YouTube has created a fun tribute to the original stop motion battle in Empire Strikes Back.

According to the YouTube video description, this is the first stop motion he made and com-posited. He used a Canon FS100 camera and lot of different programs to pull it all together.  They included After Effect CS5, Particle Illusion 3, Magix video Deluxe 16, and one time Terragen.

While it's not all completely done in stop motion, the effort put into it is amazing.

I was confused at first - a beautiful piano concerto was playing, then intense battle music. . . then I realized I had Saint-Saens playing at the same time. . . though I do think the piano concerto made for a good opening to the video. Well made!

This totally blew me away! I could not have imagined anyone could make a video like this from Legos. He did such a great job!
