There's only four out of thirty seven shots left to go. Want to see how it was made?
Roger Evans and Brandi McAlister are nearly done with the re-creation of the Jonny Quest intro that plays before each and every cartoon of the same title.
What is so great about this is not only does the stop motion duo pay homage to Jonny Quest, they document everything it took to make. Including sculpting, set building, custom lighting, animating and the technical stuff to pull it all together.
After each shot is completed, Roger uploads the final animation along with the original so you can compare the two. In some ways the stop motion shots look much nicer than the originals. But even if something in the original looks woodenly animated, they will reproduce that too. So don't worry Jonny Quest purists, Roger stayed faithful in almost every detail.
You can see it all on the official site over here. The most recent update to their blog was just a month ago. So you can expect more soon.
