Anyone have good tips on making woods set for a scene? I have different approuchs in my head but not sure what one to go for.

animateclay Hmm. There are actually a lot of ways to do it. The easiest would be actual small tree branches with dry moss hot glued on the ends. That way you don't have to build every limb and branch from scratch. But it depends on if you want that kind of style or something more like a cartoon. 3 years ago

animateclay Sure, and if it has to be very thick woods - you could paint a flat canvas (maybe poster board?) with trees. Or even print out some altered graphics onto paper and hang it behind the real trees to give it depth. Dirty Red I'll try the real sticks and green screen background. I'm sure be difficult to match the lighting and make the two blend? 3 years ago

animateclay I'm not too sure Dirty, if you have a background image you want to use - you could adjust it to match the foreground lighting. In Photoshop I use the adjust image color options for that myself. It really depends on what software you have. 3 years ago

animateclay Oh OK I've heard of that. I imagine you should be able to plop in a background photograph layer. Krita is a really good free program for painting if you want to do it from scratch. This page explains a lot about it: krita.org/en/features/highlights/ Loading content, please wait. 3 years ago
