Introduce Yourself Here #553
My name is Jason Rodgers, I'm a 2D Cartoon/Stopmotion/Jazz Artist. I have studied jazz/saxophone music formally and hold a degree in Animation. My goal is to produce stop-motion that reflects my 2D work which is jazzy and retro. I have followed animateclay.com for quite a few years, but now am finally taking steps (after my jazz and 2d studies) to concentrate more on my stopmo skills. I have quite a few videos on tips for animation, mostly about the pre production stage as well as my 2D/stopmo videos on my youtube channel

Introduce Yourself Here #475
Greetings.

I am a hand and rod puppet designer and performer, graphic designer and tattoo artist who has dabbled in video game design. I enjoy setting challenges for myself and stop motion animation is my next endeavor.

I have written a series of short stories in the pulp fiction genre, I have decided to interpret them as video shorts which can be viewed episodically.

I have watched Marc's video tutorials on YouTube and have followed them here. They have been very useful to me thus far and will continue to be so in the future. Thank you very much for the uploads.

Hi, all. I'm Jackie. I'm a professionally published writer of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I've been a fan of stop-motion ever since my first Rankin/Bass experience (Yay for "Rudolph"!) and have always fantasized about the stories I would tell with it, if I ever managed a chance. A recent move to Nashville, TN (from Memphis) put me within driving distance to an art college offering a course, so I signed right up! I've since made some puppets, and done some practice projects, and I am absolutely smitten with the art form and I'm anxious to get better. I have short films planned, and I'd love to get into music videos-for-hire and other short forms, but I'm open to seeing where this takes me.

I think I might try my hand at animating a couple of my published stories - eventually! So much to learn!

Introduce Yourself Here #27
Hi everyone, my name is Tim, and I am a pro stop motion animator, and amateur filmmaker, I reside in California, Massachusetts, and New York, depending on the weather. I love all animation but especially stop motion, even with my obvious depth perception problem as you can tell from my photo. My mind might be going, and I could be wrong, but I am going to disagree with Nick a few posts above, I think this is our forth time signing up for this site, and I told myself never again Marc Spess, but I guess I'm addicted. :)

Can't wait to see what this new site inspires, thanks Marc for once again creating this site.

Hi Everyone, I'm Jim and I live in Australia. I started animation in June 2013 when I happened to find some animation software on the Apple app store for my iPad (Animate It from Aardman Animation for $3,99). It is something I had wanted to do for many years. I bought some plasticine and made a stage out of some cardboard boxes and created my first short clip which was 15 seconds of footage and 7 seconds of titles. I was hooked and now I strive to learn something new with each clip I make. I have turned my spare bedroom into my "studio". I love set and puppet building as well as the animation and post-production. Plasticine is currently my material of choice, but I am experimenting with latex too. My goal is to some day make a clip that will be shown on television.

Hello, I'm Jennifer and I live in Michigan with my wonderful family. This would be my second time signing up for this site and I am glad they made the switch. I have loved stop motion for a long time and only resently got the guts to start trying my own animations. I am still stting things up and finding the technics I am comfortable with. I am always open to advice and look forward to hearing from you about any videos I post when they are posted.
