Stikbot Central which is owned by Zing (the toy manufacturer) in Portland Oregon is now hiring stop motion animators. The company is willing to pay well for short animations that can be added to their ever growing YouTube channel of over 700 thousand subscribers!

Alex from Zing informed me that they will pay around 400-1K a minute depending on the complexity of what is being created. From the looks of their currently posted videos - that's a nice amount. Much of the animation seems to be on 2's or even 3's. There are quite a few members of that definitely could handle the work. If you are serious about potentially working in stop motion and have a completed demo reel - you may be in luck!

The great news is you don't have to move to Portland and can work remotely if needed. For those interested, send your animation examples, demo reel, resume (if you have stop motion experience) to Alex by This email address is being protected from spambots.
